A large four flue chimney that had an indoor BarBQue and non-functional fireplaces is being dismantled to open up the house and make a roomier kitchen. The hole where the chimney was is going to get a skylight installed to open up the ceiling and let in more natural light. January 2010.

Feb. 2010 - In progress: Gas range installed, old cabinets removed, most of new ones put in, center island built, new window installed, skylight tunnel being mudded, old kitchen flooring being removed and refrigerator relocated.
Welcome to my work home page. I have been in the construction industry for about 25 years. I had a large roofing company at one point with 12 employees and large state contracts, but the work became impersonal and full of headaches managing employees etc., and I wanted to get back into working on the jobs myself with my clients.
For the last 8 years I have been specializing in doing small remodels, repairs and fixes for individual homeowners. I enjoy problem solving and making something that was unsightly or unworkable into something pleasing to look at and functional.
Working by myself allows me to give personal attention to the job at hand, though for bigger jobs I have help available. In this way I can price my jobs to keep it below most remodeling quotes
I work closely with the homeowner and work hard to make their ideas into a reality. I also apply my talents as an artist to be creative and help with ideas to create custom and individualized, unique fixes.
Over the years I have accumulated a large remodeling skill set which includes the following:
Roofing, painting, siding, sidewalks and driveways, stucco, small electrical repairs, plumbing, bathroom and kitchen remodels, flooring, pressure washing, chimney repair and install, skylights, windows, stairs, walls, framing, decks and many other related tasks!
