I make bent wood frames as part of my art by bending and gluing together thin strips of wood. I apply the same technique to building my one of a kind trellises and sculptural garden art. The trellises are made of thin bendable cedar strips glued together with exterior wood glue. The pieces are sanded and then stained or painted. I first design a customized piece on a 3D program to get a good visual of it before I start.
