Eye Worm is a piece ispired my the MC Escher piece 'Reptiles'. The mushrooms were modeled after the magic mushroom Golden Teacher, the mushrooms morph into leaves. Unglazed cerami painted with oils, bent wood frame, the sun was 3D printed, bent wood frame 32" x 39" x 1 1/2".

'Pathways' is my latest piece finished in November 2021. This was inspired by M.C. Escher's tessellations. Each tile is the same shape and design but I use colors to throw the eyes off the physical shape. The butterfly's wings are of the same shape but painted to mask it. In the center sits a statue of a newly born human with many paths to chose. unglazed ceramic tiles painted with oils and finished with a heavy gloss epoxy which gives it another layer of dimensionality. This piece sold the same day I finished it. I'm working on more similar pieces.
