Here is my first orb that's not circular. It was captured in the middle of the night, with flash (you can see flash reflection on the door). I did about 15 sequential shots and this was only in one of those frames. (Sequential shooting eliminates the possibility of something being stuck on the lens).

At first I thought I caught an orb in motion, but at the speed of the flash, (and 'film speed') in order for this to be a motion blur would have to moving pretty darn fast. The other possibility is that this is an elongated object. Hard to tell what it is (if it isn't a floating dust speck:). The blur is not caused by camera movement as evidenced by the entire picture being steady, blur free.

In the extreme close up it looks either like it has an entry and exit point, or it's a continuous form.

Orb captured with door background. I aimed at the door since it's harder to see any orbs on my walls white background.

 

Close up. Here is looks like a series of concentric rings like a Slinky, which would indicate motion.

Magnified even more...it could be a continuous form.
