Glass Eyelids

Eyes closed yet sees wide open spaces
in the darkness, specks of darker dark
with light dots a universe wide.

A drop of sound echoes silently
no ears to hear
no mind to contemplate it.
Is it there?

Where is the light which gives no shadow
which shines thru all
and is forever bright?
